Paul Tye
is thrilled to be a member of Team Ward 9. A native of Kingston Ontario, he came to Calgary via Toronto in the summer of 2012. He has been actively involved in the community since his days at Queen’s University. He has had the pleasure of working for the City of Kingston, former House of Commons Speaker, the Hon. Peter Milliken, PC, and Premier Dalton McGuinty in the office of the Government House Leader at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Paul believes that communities are equal parts people, places and purpose. He brings this excitement to his work with the Team and is excited to continue to explore Calgary’s greatest ward.

Lindsay Luhnau is a native Calgarian who has always been passionate about people and her City. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Political Science Degree in 2004, she moved to Germany for a year and became familiar with the human scaled city and her passion grew for a different Calgary. In 2006, once back in Calgary, she began to volunteer for different political campaigns and even ran in the 2007 municipal election in Ward 8. Her work in the environmental non-profit sector has shaped her passions for a more community oriented, post carbon and inclusive Calgary.  In 2010, after working on the Nenshi campaign, finishing her Masters in Education and returning from maternity leave, she was very excited to be asked to join the Ward 9 Team. Now just back from having her second baby, she is excited to see the changes Councillor Carra has been able to make and be part of the ongoing process.
