2025 Calgary Barn Burner: July 2, 2025

Dust off your best western attire and kick off Stampede as we celebrate with Canadian Armed Forces Services Members and honour the 30th Anniversary of the the HMCS Calgary - our city’s namesake Navy Ship.

This year’s event is taking place Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 from 6pm - 9pm at the Blue Flame Kitchen at The Commons at ATCO Park.

There will be great food, great drinks, great live music, and most of all, great people! This event is family-friendly, with entertaining activities for kids big and small. All proceeds raised from this event go toward supporting two exceptional local Calgary charities - the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society and the Veterans Association Food Bank.

This event SELLS OUT every year, so get your tickets quick! $60 includes event entry, food, a drink ticket, and Stampede entertainment. Plus, tickets for kids under 12 are only $10!

PLUS: New this year! The Calgary Stampeders have announced an exciting new themed game to kick off Stampede season! The Stampede Bowl takes place on July 3, the eve of the Calgary Stampede, as the Stampeders face off against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Access to the venue will be through the south doors only. The north doors will be locked and guests will need to walk around to the southside of the building for entry. 



TRANSPORTATION + PARKING:

PUBLIC TRANSIT: The Blue Flame Kitchen is located near stops for the 304 Max Yellow, 306 Max Teal, the #9 and #20 bus routes. For more information on transit options or to plan your trip, visit CalgaryTransit.com.

BIKE PARKING: There is space to lock up bikes in front of the south entrance to the Commons Building.

PARKING: Parking at ATCO Park is complimentary. There are surface parking spots on both the north and south side of the building that can be accessed from Forand Street.

There are also visitor spots in the underground parkade. The parkade is accessible from the east side of Forand Street. Use the call button on the access pad to connect with security - let them know you are here for the Barn Burner Event and they will let you in. Visitor spots are clearly marked. From the parkade, take the elevator up to level 1 and check-in for the event.
