 #YYCBIKE

The underlying vision to the Cycling Strategy is making Calgary a bicycle-friendly city for all to enjoy - whether you commute to work or school, run errands or ride simply because you love it!

YYC CYCLING STRATEGY

With the approval of the Calgary Transportation Plan (CTP), there is an increasing focus on providing transportation choices, especially those that focus on sustainability, health and the environment. One way The City is achieving the goals of this plan is through the Cycling Strategy, which was approved by Council on July 5, 2011.

BIKE CALGARY

Bike Calgary is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the cycling experience in Calgary. They are Calgary’s leading advocacy voice on active transport, sustainable multi-mobility, intersection and infrastructure design, including complete streets. They believe our infrastructure should be shared, safe and available to all ages and abilities.

BIKE INDEX

The Calgary Police Service (CPS) has partnered with Bike Index, a free, online bike registration service, to aid in returning stolen bikes recovered by the CPS back to their rightful owners.
