Franklin Station Improvements: Housing Provider Selected

The City of Calgary has proudly selected Onward Homes as the official housing developer for the Franklin Station Area Improvements. This project will introduce 350 new homes to the area, half of which will be affordable housing, supporting sustainable growth and improved transit access for the surrounding community.

The Franklin Station Area Improvements project is part of The City’s broader vision to create vibrant, mixed-use communities centered around transit access. Located near essential services and schools, the development will include a mix of family-oriented, three-bedroom homes and universally accessible units.

This initiative aligns with The City’s Transit-Oriented Development Program and contributes directly to Home is Here: The City’s Housing Strategy, which focuses on increasing housing supply, diversity, and affordability across Calgary.

By partnering with Onward, The City is advancing a shared commitment to building inclusive, livable neighborhoods where residents can easily access public transit and community amenities.
