This Stampede, we’re tipping our hats to Calgary’s unique bond with the Canadian Navy, showing love for the folks who serve our city, and raising funds for some great local charities, all at two incredible events!
Calgary Barn Burner | July 2, 2025
Dust off your boots and get ready for a western-themed night of food, music, and fun! Hosted at ATCO Park, the 2025 Calgary Barn Burner brings together the crew of HMCS Calgary, Canadian Armed Forces members, and community supporters to celebrate the ship’s 30th anniversary.
Enjoy great food, live music, and family-friendly activities — all while raising funds for the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society and the Veterans Association Food Bank.

Road Hockey Rodeo | July 12, 2025
The 2025 Road Hockey Rodeo features a 3-on-3 youth tournament (ages 12–17) where players team up with HMCS Calgary sailors, first responders, and (possibly) some very special VIP guets for a fun and friendly competition. Hosted by the Friends of HMCS Calgary Committee and supported by the Calgary Flames Foundation, this event builds strong community connections while raising funds for Trellis Society.
